Summer training Workshop on Radio, inaugurated in Bhubaneswar

Only of its kind in Odisha, a Summer training program on Radio is started by philanthropic organization Outreach. Thursday afternoon the workshop is inaugurated at Conference hall of Budha Mandir at Unit III.

State Correspondent of All India Radio Sudhansu Sekhar Dhada, Eminent Educationalist Professor Amareswar Mishra and Ex-Director of All India Radio Cuttack Dr Shantanu Rath joined the inaugural ceremony and encouraged all participants. Subrat Kumar Pati Convener of the program presided the program. Thirty young students are participating in the workshop.

“This is for the third time we are organizing such a program in Bhubaneswar. Earlier workshops are successful. We are happy to see the response of enthusiastic youngsters to know more about Radio & Broadcasting.” said Subrat Kumar Pati Convener of the program. The workshop will train participants on Radio Script Writing, Live Show Presentation, Pronunciation & Modulation, Outstation Broadcast, Radio News Reporting & Reading, Listeners’ Interaction, Dubbing & Voice Acting, Public Service Broadcasting.

The participants will visit Radio stations and work on practical assignments in professional studios. During the workshop, importance will be given on Body Language & Personality Development. Very popular Radio broadcasters, Radio Jockeys, experts will join the workshop to train the participants.
