Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri was on Sunday sworn in as the Chief Justice of Odisha High Court.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of office to the new chief justice. For this, a brief ceremony was organised inside the premises of the high court here. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other dignitaries were present in the ceremony.
Justice JHaveri replaced Justice Vineet Saran. Saturday, he visited Puri Srimandir to seek blessings of Lord Jagannath along with his family.
Justice Jhaveri started his career as a permanent judge in 2005 from Gujarat High Court and later transferred to Rajasthan High Court in 2016.
