Twin city Cuttack and Bhubaneswar has got a new FM station on 91.9 FM. The test transmission has started on Tuesday.
After huge success in Music, Television and Movie, Sarthak has entered radio industry in Odisha. Twin city FM lovers will now enjoy music and variety of radio programs on 91.9 frequency.
As this is test transmission, only back to back songs are playing on the channel now. Soon variety of programs will be there. Popular radio presenters like RJ Swati, RJ Amit and others has joined the channel. Soon their voice will be on air. “We are excited to serve people of Odisha in a new taste”, RJ Swati said.
In phase 3 part 1 FM bidding Sarthak has got 2 FM license to start its radio station in Cuttack/Bhubaneswar and Rourkela. Sarthak has its own archive of 10,000 Odia songs. As per its head Sitaram Agrawal, Sarthak FM is concentrating on Odia content. This will be the first 100% Odia FM station.
Established players like Radio Choklate, Big FM and Red FM are already there in twin city. Now the new player will entertain listeners. Welcoming the new channel to radio industry radio broadcaster & activist Subrat Kumar Pati said, “I am happy to see the growth of the industry. I expect soon Sarthak and Odisha tv will start their channel in Rourkela”.
