First International Branches of KISS to open in Bangladesh

Two branches of KISS are going to be opened in Bangladesh. Bhoomi Pujan of these two branches held at Dhaka and Jessore on 11th January 2018. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS; Sabur Khan, Founder, Daffodil University of Dhaka and Angela Goam, Founder, Banchte Shekha, a leading NGO of Bangladesh were present on both these occasion. The Dhaka Branch of KISS is going to be opened in association with Daffodil University while KISS ‘Banchte Shekha’ in Jessore is going to be opened with the help of ‘Banchte Shekha’. Daffodil University has provided land and fund for Infrastructure development for Dhaka branch. ‘Banchte Shekha’ has provided land and fund for its Jessore branch.

KISS is providing technical and managerial support to both these branches. Both these branches of KISS will be fully residential and free of cost. Both the branches will start from coming academic session.  500 poorest of the poor Bangladesh children will be provided free education  in Dhaka Branch while the Jessore is only for poorest girl children. These two branches are the first international branch of KISS. Daffodil University and ‘Banchte Shekha’ had Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KISS to open these two branches of KISS earlier. Expressing his pleasure over this development Dr. Samanta said, one organization of Odisha particularly the name of Odisha, ‘KALINGA’ placed in International Level is pride for Odisha. Today KISS model has got appreciation from all over the World as a Successful model for eradication of poverty through education and empowerment of underprivileged.
